- The “setup or implementation” fees are charged when the account is set up, and they are charged only once.
- The “annual” fees are levied once a year (starting when the account is set up).
- The “semi-annual” fees are charged twice yearly (beginning when the account is set up).
- The fees that are called “monthly” are charged monthly.
- Transaction fees are charged on each transaction.
- Authorization & AVS (Address Verification) fees are charged when a card is authorized or when an address is checked (usually done when a card is charged).
- Voice authorization is only charged if you call into our system to process a transaction using our automated phone system.
- The (discount) rate is charged on every sale you process (it is a percentage of the sale).
- The batch fee is charged every day you receive funds from sales into your account.

- PIN Debit fees apply only to brick-and-mortar merchants and transactions processed via a PIN pad. No discount rate is charged, only the PIN debit fee.
- EBT fees are only applicable to brick-and-mortar merchants who accept EBT cards.
- PCI fees ensure that your merchant account meets all applicable PCI DSS requirements and protects you in case of a breach.
- An ACH Reject Fee is assessed when the processor attempts to debit fees from your bank account, and there aren’t enough funds. Think of an ACH Reject Fee like an “overdraft” fee in your bank account. If the bank account doesn’t have sufficient funds to cover the fees assessed, your account will be charged an ACH Reject Fee.
- A monthly online access fee allows the merchant to access their account online via the bank’s backend. You will not process transactions here, including reporting, fees, support, statements, etc. Online merchants will process payments through their gateway account.
- The monthly minimum is the minimum amount of (discount) rate fees you must generate monthly. For example, if the (discount) rate is 5% and the monthly minimum is $25, you must process $500+ per month to avoid any monthly minimum fees. If you process $400 in the given month, you will be charged $5 for the monthly minimum ($25 (monthly minimum) - $20 (actual discount rate charges) = $5).
