What Documents Will Allied Payments Ask For?

Modified on Thu, 5 Sep at 4:30 PM

When opening a new account with Allied Payments, there are going to be a few documents we always need:

  1. Voided Pre-Printed Check or a bank letter signed by your bank representative
  2. Proof of Your Legal Entity, usually in the form of an IRS EIN letter (SS-4 Form)

If you're already accepting credit cards, we’ll need three months of your current processing statements to review. This will also expedite your account's approval.

Our underwriters may ask for additional documentation depending on your business type/industry and desired monthly volume amount. This may include:

  1. Three months of current business bank statements
  2. Photo ID of owner(s)
  3. Articles of incorporation/articles of organization
  4. Business License (if required for the business/industry you are in)
  5. Tax returns and financial records (for large merchants)

Once your account has been pre-approved, you will receive the proposed rates and fees, along with the documents required for approval. Once we receive the documents back, we can usually complete the approval and setup process within a few business hours.
