Who Will be Required to Sign the Allied Payments Application?

Modified on Wed, 4 Sep at 10:15 PM

The answer to this question depends on the type of business or organization you represent:

Nonprofits: Any authorized member can sign on behalf of the organization. Ideally, we prefer the Executive Director, Treasurer, or a Senior Board member to do so. Signers of nonprofit applications won't need to sign a personal guarantee but must provide their Social Security Number and information for identity verification.

Partnerships: Both partners must sign the application.

Sole Proprietors: Only the sole proprietor is allowed to sign.

Private LLC or Corporation: An owner must sign, preferably with at least a 50% ownership stake, or two owners whose combined ownership is 50% or more.

Co-operative: Similar to nonprofits, an authorized member can sign on behalf of the organization.
